Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Lead/Staff-level Full Stack AI Engineer who is strongest on the backend but can operate effectively across the full application stack. This person will help bridge React frontend functionality with Python/Temporal backend workflows and should be comfortable independently developing features, troubleshooting issues, and moving between components. This is not a traditional React-heavy full-stack search. The ideal profile is a strong Python/backend engineer with Temporal experience, functional React knowledge, and hands-on experience using AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enhance Python-based backend functionality
  • Build and maintain Temporal workflows
  • Connect React frontend functionality to backend workflow execution
  • Develop new features and modify existing functionality
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application bugs
  • Work across frontend and backend components as needed
  • Use Copilot/Claude to accelerate development without excessive token or context consumption
  • Participate throughout the development lifecycle using GitHub and established SDLC practices
