Lab Technician

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support materials testing and sample preparation within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This individual will be responsible for mounting, polishing, cutting, and preparing samples for testing using laboratory equipment such as grinders, polishers, cutting tools, and ovens while following detailed work instructions and quality procedures. The ideal candidate will perform laboratory analysis, maintain inventory, support preventative maintenance and lab operations activities, and ensure all work is completed with a strong focus on safety, quality, and attention to detail. This role requires someone who can work both independently and as part of a team, adapt quickly to changing priorities, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Candidates should be comfortable training new team members, supporting production needs through overtime as required, and taking ownership of assigned tasks in a manufacturing setting. A high school diploma and hands-on laboratory or manufacturing experience are required, while experience in quality assurance, coatings, thermal spray processes, or related industrial environments is highly preferred.
