JDE E1 Technical Architect

Required Skills & Experience

7+ years of experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, with at least 3 years in an architecture or senior technical role

Strong hands-on development within E1, performance tuning, upgrading, and patching

Strong knowledge of JD Edwards technical architecture, including tools like JD Edwards Orchestrator and AIS, SQL, RDA, FDA, etc.

Strong understanding of relational databases (Oracle) and data integration techniques

Knowledge of middleware technologies (e.g., SOA, RESTful web services) and enterprise integration patterns

Job Description

A construction and construction materials company is seeking a JDE EnterpriseOne Technical Solutions Architect to join their ERP team. This position will be responsible for overseeing design improvements and optimization of their E1 system, both from a development standpoint as well as architecture. On a day to day basis, this person will be responsible for hands-on development within the E1 system, conducting code reviews for the development team, working with their MSP to ensure best practices and standards are being followed, overseeing system integrations between E1 and other internal/external systems, performance tuning, upgrades and patch management, documentation, and collaboration across multiple teams including functional consultants, business stakeholders, and project managers. This role will be 99% remote, and the client is considering both local and nonlocal candidates for this position.

This role is paying between 70 – 80/hr. depending on years of relevant experience and education level.
