Industrial Painter

Required Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of industrial painting experience within a manufacturing, fabrication, or heavy industrial environment.
• Hands-on experience with industrial spray equipment and applying primers, paints, and protective coatings.
• Experience with surface preparation, including sanding, grinding, cleaning, and masking metal surfaces.
• Ability to mix and apply coatings according to specifications and work instructions.
• Ability to follow paint specifications, production schedules, and quality standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience painting large fabricated metal products, generator enclosures, tanks, or structural steel.
• Experience with epoxy, urethane, and other industrial coating systems.
• Experience using paint thickness gauges and quality inspection tools.
• Forklift and/or overhead crane experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and manufacturing drawings.

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Industrial Painter to support a manufacturing environment focused on custom fabricated metal products. This individual will be responsible for preparing, painting, coating, and finishing products such as generator enclosures, fuel tanks, structural components, and other fabricated metal equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on industrial painting experience and a strong understanding of surface preparation, paint mixing, spray application, coating thickness, and quality inspection. This person should be comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining high standards for quality and safety.
