Job Description
We are seeking a Business Analyst / Implementation Engineer to support the deployment, testing, commissioning, and go-live of warehouse technology across multiple distribution center projects. This individual will play a hands-on role in bringing proven warehouse solutions into new sites, ensuring systems are thoroughly tested and operationally ready for launch. The ideal candidate is a self-sufficient, hands-on tester and problem solver who can develop and execute test plans with limited direction, identify and triage defects, and work directly with business, operations, and technical teams to validate system functionality.
RESPONSIBILITIES
System Testing & Validation
- Independently develop, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases for warehouse systems and operational workflows.
- Perform functional, UAT, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Validate that systems function correctly based on real-world warehouse and operational requirements.
- Document test results, system behavior, defects, and outstanding issues.
- Retest fixes and validate system readiness throughout the implementation lifecycle. Defect Management & Troubleshooting
- Identify, document, track, and triage defects uncovered during testing.
- Perform initial troubleshooting to determine the potential source and impact of system issues.
- Partner with technical teams and engineers to communicate defects clearly and support root-cause investigation.
- Validate fixes and ensure issues are resolved prior to production launch. Implementation, Commissioning & Go-Live
- Provide hands-on, on-site support during system implementation, commissioning, cutover, and go-live.
- Support the rollout of established warehouse technology solutions into new distribution center environments.
- Assist with system startup activities and help ensure technology and operational processes are ready for production.
- Support multiple distribution center projects as deployment schedules require. Business & Operational Analysis
- Partner directly with warehouse operations and business stakeholders to understand how systems will be used in day-to-day operations.
- Translate business and operational processes into meaningful test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
- Determine whether system functionality supports the intended operational use case.
- Communicate testing progress, defects, risks, and dependencies across business and technical teams.
