GUI Software Engineer - Secret Clearance

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced GUI Software Engineer to support ongoing software development and modernization efforts for a large scale C2 system. The engineer will work within an Agile software development environment supporting the design, development, integration, testing, and enhancement of mission-critical software. This role will focus on developing modern, scalable applications across both front-end and back-end environments, working with technologies including C#, TypeScript, ReactJS, Protobuf/gRPC, and REST APIs. The engineer will collaborate with software, systems, integration, and DevSecOps teams as capabilities are developed, integrated, tested, and deployed.

Skills and Requirements

STEM Degree Strong development experience with C# Experience with TypeScript and ReactJS Experience developing and integrating REST APIs Experience with Protobuf and/or gRPC Experience developing software in a modern Agile environment Experience with software integration, troubleshooting, testing, and debugging Experience working with Git-based source control and modern software development practices Active Secret Clearance Ability to work onsite in Huntsville, AL Experience developing software for DoD, tactical, command-and-control, or other mission-critical systems Experience with Linux/RHEL Experience with Java, C++, or Python Experience with microservices or distributed software architectures Experience with containerization technologies Experience working within CI/CD or DevSecOps environments Familiarity with GitLab, Jenkins, Ansible, Nexus, or similar development tooling Experience integrating software across multiple systems, interfaces, or data sources
