GIS Analyst

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of GIS design, operations, and automated mapping systems experience
• 2+ years in a lead role providing technical/functional supervision
• Bachelor's degree in GIS, Cartography, Geography, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field ○ OR 4 additional years of qualifying experience in lieu of degree
• Experience with ESRI-based GIS software and applications like ArchGIS
• Database experience with SQL
• Experience with scripting/programming (Python, JavaScript, or similar)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Utility or water district industry experience
• Enterprise GIS administration experience
• Experience integrating GIS with other business systems
• Experience developing GIS standards, protocols, and training materials
• Knowledge of AutoCAD/CAD principles and mapping standards
