Job Description
Insight Global Consulting is partnering with a large local utility to support their Electric Asset Data Mgmt & Analytics team and the development and productionization of Generative AI solutions within a complex enterprise technology environment. This is a highly hands-on role for an experienced GenAI Developer who has already built and deployed GenAI solutions in production and can operate independently from day one. The team has strong developers and GenAI-focused Product Managers who can prototype and test concepts, but needs dedicated development expertise to turn those concepts into scalable, production-ready solutions. The environment spans Palantir Foundry/AIP, Snowflake, AWS, ArcGIS Online (AGOL), React, and large language models (LLMs). A major focus will be building agentic workflows and AI-enabled applications that can securely leverage enterprise data across these platforms. This person will also support broader development and data science needs as priorities shift, so flexibility, technical curiosity, and a team-first mindset are important.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and productionize Generative AI applications and agentic workflows.
- Develop AI agents and workflows that leverage LLMs and enterprise data across Palantir Foundry, Snowflake, AWS, and other systems.
- Build solutions within Palantir Foundry/AIP, including navigating enterprise governance, access, and production requirements.
- Turn GenAI prototypes and concepts into secure, reliable, production-level applications.
- Develop and enhance React-based dashboards and user interfaces to support AI and data-driven use cases.
- Integrate data residing across Snowflake, Foundry, AWS, and other enterprise platforms into GenAI solutions.
- Partner with GenAI Product Managers, developers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to identify and execute high-value use cases.
- Contribute to broader software development, data science, and technical initiatives when GenAI development is not the immediate priority.
- Proactively identify areas where additional development support is needed rather than waiting for work to be assigned.
- Bring forward new ideas, challenge assumptions constructively, and help the team determine where GenAI can meaningfully improve workflows and outcomes.
- Work independently in a highly regulated enterprise environment where GenAI solutions require significant review and scrutiny before moving into production.
