Full Stack Engineer – Fort Mill Client: LSEG Start Date: ASAP Location: Fort Mill , 3 days a week onsite Contract: 6 months rolling Bill Rate: $142.66/day Open Roles: 1 Full Stack Engineer – Fort Mill
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer to join the Operational Tooling team, working on business-critical applications that support the creation, review, management and governance of financial indices. The role will focus on both enhancing existing applications and designing new solutions, including tooling that supports index computation, application review processes and wider operational workflows. We are looking for an engineer who can take ownership of a business problem, understand the requirement and design the right technical solution rather than simply being given tasks to execute. You will work closely with the existing engineering team and business stakeholders to enhance applications, introduce new functionality and improve how operational processes are managed.
Day-to-Day As a Full Stack Engineer, you will work closely with the existing engineering team and business stakeholders to design, build and enhance operational tooling and business-critical applications supporting index computation and review processes. You will develop modern front-end solutions using Angular alongside backend services and APIs using C#/.NET, taking ownership of delivery from initial requirements and solution design through development, testing and production. A key part of the role will be understanding business problems, evaluating different implementation options and recommending the right technical solution rather than simply working from predefined tasks. You will enhance existing applications, introduce new features and help design new applications and workflows, while maintaining strong engineering standards around code quality, unit testing and maintainability. You will also take responsibility for testing your own work and work closely with QA and business teams to support UAT and ensure solutions are delivered successfully.
