Required Skills & Experience

1-5 years of experience in FTZ operations, Customs Brokerage, or Import/Export Trade Compliance Knowledge of the global logistics industry Strong understanding of customs brokerage processes and systems Knowledge of Incoterms and international trade regulations Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word Strong verbal and written communication skills in English Customer-focused mindset and relationship management skills Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management abilities Ability to work independently while maintaining communication with remote leadership Prior FTZ experience or working knowledge preferred

Job Description

Expeditors is seeking an FTZ On-Site Coordinator to serve as the primary onsite resource at a customer's Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) facility. Working under the direction of the Miami Customs Brokerage department, this individual will support daily FTZ operations, customs transactions, compliance activities, reporting, and record keeping. The Coordinator will act as a key liaison between the FTZ Administrator, Customs Brokerage team, customer stakeholders, and government agencies while ensuring adherence to customer SOPs and key performance metrics.
