Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of relevant financial, project cost, project controls, or plant financial experience Power generation / Industry experience with the ability to understand the terminology and financial components of plant projects Experience managing and tracking project budgets, costs, work orders, approved POs, change orders, and invoices/AP Experience with month-to-month forecasting and tracking actual costs against budget/forecast Experience with reconciliation and auditing/reviewing financial information for accuracy Experience working with project contracts

Job Description

These individuals will support the financial side of power generation projects and plant maintenance work. They will manage and track project budgets and costs, review work orders and approved purchase orders, process and track change orders, reconcile financial information, and monitor invoices and other project expenses.

They will be responsible for looking at costs month over month, helping forecast upcoming spend, and making sure actual project costs align with budgets and forecasts. They'll also work with general maintenance contracts for plant parts/services and help ensure the financial information associated with projects is accurate, organized, and ready for reporting/auditing.
