Epic PB Claims Analyst

Job Description

Optum is looking for an HB Claims and PB Claims Analysts to support ongoing Epic maintenance, optimization initiatives, upgrades, and project-based work across the revenue cycle environment.

Day to Day/Responsibilities:

• Partner closely with Patient Access teams
• Support Epic Prelude and Cadence applications
• Participate in application build, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and workflow optimization Primarily focus on Claims statusing

Skills and Requirements

Must Haves:

• Epic PB Claims Certification (PB role) or Epic Resolute HB Claims Certification (HB role) required
• 5+ years of healthcare IT experience
• 3+ years of hands-on Epic PB Claims or HB Claims support experience
• Experience with implementations, upgrades, optimization, and complex application build
• Strong understanding of revenue cycle workflows, billing operations, claims processing, denials management, and reimbursement Ability to serve as a subject matter expert and lead projects independently

Nice to Haves:

• Additional Epic certifications (Resolute, Charge Router, Claims, Contract Management, Reporting Workbench, Clarity, etc.)
• Experience supporting multiple hospitals or health systems
• Self-directed, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision
