Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Optical Engineering (or related field)
- 3+ years of experience
- Knowledge within EO/IR technology, optical systems, infrared sensors, imaging systems, or similar sensor technologies ( full life cycle of design and development through testing)
- Understanding of engineering test practices, technical analysis, and data evaluation Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an Electro-Optical/Infrared (EO/IR) Engineer to support the development and testing of advanced sensor technologies for a variety of defense applications. This individual will work with several different engineering teams to create and develop optical and targeting systems.
The EO/IR Engineer will contribute to system integration, performance evaluation, test activities, technical analysis, troubleshooting, and engineering documentation. This is an on-site opportunity supporting government and defense-related programs.
