Nice to Have Skills & Experience

A strong Enterprise Applications M&A Delivery Lead should be able to look across the acquisition portfolio and answer:

  1. Which applications are impacted by each acquisition?
  2. Who owns each system implementation?
  3. Do we have the PM and delivery capacity required?
  4. What are the committed system milestones?
  5. How are the systems dependent on one another?
  6. Where are data, integrations, access, testing, or infrastructure driving the critical path?
  7. Which acquisitions are competing for the same application resources?
  8. Which system plans are credible and which need recovery?
  9. What needs leadership intervention?
  10. Can the application portfolio support the acquisition's overall integration date?

Job Description

The Enterprise Applications M&A Delivery Lead is accountable for coordinating and driving enterprise application delivery across the M&A portfolio, providing a single point of accountability for application delivery commitments, system PM capacity, cross-application dependencies, sequencing, readiness, and delivery recovery.

This role sits between the GTech M&A portfolio, Acquisition Integration Leads, system PMs, application owners, and the broader functional and technical delivery teams.

The Enterprise Applications M&A Delivery Lead takes application demand generated by multiple acquisitions and turns it into an executable delivery model by determining what systems are impacted, who owns each implementation, what capacity is required, how the applications need to be sequenced, where dependencies exist, and whether committed dates can realistically be achieved.

This is not a status consolidation or PMO role. The successful candidate must understand enterprise application delivery, be comfortable operating in ambiguity, and have enough delivery experience to challenge plans, identify missing dependencies, resolve cross-system conflicts, and drive teams toward committed outcomes.

The role provides Acquisition Integration Leads with one accountable applications delivery partner rather than requiring each acquisition to independently navigate multiple application teams.
