Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of professional Electrical Engineering experience Hands-on electrical/hardware design experience Experience evaluating and selecting electrical components for new designs or system redesigns Ability to review existing hardware designs and provide recommendations for improvements Experience supporting hardware testing, including environmental testing Ability to develop and maintain engineering documentation in support of testing, inspections, and design changes Active Secret clearance Ability to work fully onsite at Redstone Arsenal

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

PCB design and/or PCB layout experience Experience supporting tactical, missile, weapons, or other defense systems Experience with hardware redesign, modernization, or component obsolescence efforts Familiarity working in a defense engineering environment with established program SMEs

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the redesign and continued development of hardware for a tactical weapons system. This individual will work alongside established program SMEs and provide hands-on engineering expertise, particularly around hardware design, component selection, system improvements, and testing.
