Job Description
An employer is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in Austin, TX to join the client's Video Engineering organization. This team is responsible for developing industry-leading video collaboration products, including cameras, audio devices, integrated video conferencing systems, codecs, and compute platforms that power modern workplace communication. This engineer will sit within the architectural design group and be responsible for designing and prototyping electrical subsystems across a wide variety of products. The role requires a strong understanding of PCB-level design and how electrical subsystems interact within larger, highly integrated hardware ecosystems. On any given project, this individual may support the development of camera systems, audio peripherals, all-in-one video collaboration devices, standalone compute products, or other connected hardware solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience designing scalable electrical architectures and translating product requirements into robust hardware solutions. This person should be comfortable evaluating complex engineering problems, driving technical decisions, and developing creative solutions across multiple product lines. The team is looking for an engineer who can think beyond individual components and understand how entire systems work together while contributing to future product architecture initiatives.
This is a hybrid position requiring onsite attendance in Austin, TX Tuesday through Thursday.
