Job Description
Insight Global is seeking Electrical Commissioning Technicians to support electrical testing and commissioning operations within a manufacturing environment. This position will work hands-on with critical electrical equipment including UPS systems, switchgear, circuit breakers, busway and electrical control systems.
Technicians will receive structured onboarding and training before progressing into hands-on commissioning activities. Initial responsibilities will include shadowing experienced technicians and supporting electrical testing such as point-to-point checks, insulation resistance testing, contact resistance testing, breaker testing and equipment verification.
As technicians progress through training, they will support more advanced commissioning activities including UPS startup and transfer testing, load-bank testing, electrical measurements, HMI/BMS verification, equipment troubleshooting and functional performance testing.
The ideal candidate has a strong electrical foundation, is comfortable working around industrial electrical equipment, and is interested in developing deeper experience within electrical testing and commissioning.
