Job Description

Insight Global is seeking reliable and safety-focused Van Drivers to support a roadway data collection project throughout the Charlotte, NC area. This role is not a delivery position and does not require a CDL. Drivers will operate company vehicles along designated routes while working alongside a field operator responsible for collecting roadway data.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company-provided van along predetermined data collection routes throughout the Charlotte area.
• Follow GPS navigation and route instructions provided by the field operator.
• Partner closely with the onboard operator who will manage the data collection equipment and project logistics.
• Conduct basic pre-trip vehicle inspections each morning.

Maintain safe driving practices and comply with all traffic laws and company safety procedures.

• Drive for extended periods of time throughout the workday.
• Communicate effectively with the onboard operator regarding routes, traffic conditions, and schedule adjustments.
• Adapt to changing routes, traffic conditions, and project needs.
• Ensure accurate completion of assigned collection routes.

Pay: $20-$22/hr
