Job Description

Our client is seeking a Director of Enterprise Applications & Data Strategy to lead the evolution of its business applications, data platform, integration strategy, and cybersecurity initiatives. This individual will serve as a key technology and business partner, overseeing a team responsible for ERP application management, data strategy, integrations, and third-party technology partners.

This is a highly visible leadership role with a clear succession path and the opportunity to take on expanded executive responsibilities over the next 12-18 months. The ideal candidate combines strong leadership skills with deep experience supporting ERP-driven business environments and transforming operational data into actionable business insights. This is not a purely technical role; the successful candidate will understand the intersection of business operations, enterprise applications, data, and technology strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of 3-4 technology professionals, including ERP functional and technical resources and a delivery leader.
  • Provide strategic oversight of ERP applications, including post-migration enhancements, optimization, support, and long-term roadmap planning.
  • Partner with executive leadership to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the CISO to establish and execute the organization's cybersecurity roadmap while managing relationships with external technology and managed service providers.
  • Assume future oversight of managed service providers and vendor relationships.
  • Develop and execute an enterprise data strategy focused on governance, accessibility, quality, and business value.
  • Lead initiatives related to data warehousing, data lakes, and modern data architecture.
  • Drive adoption of Medallion Architecture concepts and ensure data is transformed into business-consumable formats.
  • Evaluate and help mature Microsoft Fabric capabilities and broader analytics platforms.
  • Oversee enterprise integrations across key platforms, including ERP, Salesforce, MuleSoft, and AI-enabled solutions.
  • Support AI enablement efforts by identifying opportunities to connect enterprise applications and business data with emerging AI technologies.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to define meaningful operational metrics, reporting standards, and data definitions.
  • Communicate effectively with executive and C-suite stakeholders, providing strategic updates and recommendations.

$150,000 to $175,000 - Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
