Data Integration Development Manager

Required Skills & Experience

Recent hands-on Azure integration development, including personally building integrations in their current or most recent role Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, and/or Azure Functions Strong SQL experience Experience building application-to-application and system-to-system integrations Background with legacy integration technologies such as SSIS and/or Informatica Must still be technically capable of coding, troubleshooting, reviewing solutions, and making architecture decisions Leadership experience or strong technical leadership with the ability to mentor, coach, and develop engineers Experience evaluating technologies and helping establish development/integration standards AI-forward mindset with active use of AI tools within development

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Retail or large enterprise integration experience Experience introducing AI tools or practices within a development team

Job Description

Lead a team responsible for data and application integrations across the Microsoft/Azure environment. This is a hands-on manager who will help modernize legacy SSIS/Informatica integration standards into Azure-based solutions. This person will manage and develop the team while remaining technically hands-on. They need to be comfortable coding, troubleshooting, reviewing solutions, making architecture decisions, and stepping into development when needed. They will also help define future integration standards by evaluating new technologies, their limitations, cost/ROI, and whether they make sense for the environment.
