Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Data Analyst to support a large-scale telecom infrastructure and strategic analytics team. This individual will help build the analytics behind a decision-support solution that enables network engineers to determine which projects should move forward with material ordering each month to meet build goals.
The role will bring together data across budget, project readiness, build goals, and material availability to create a trusted view of which cell-site projects are ready to move forward and why.
This role requires strong technical data skills combined with business acumen. The ideal candidate can understand how large infrastructure projects progress through their lifecycle, translate ambiguous business questions into data requirements, and communicate insights effectively to engineering and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
-Partner with engineering, planning, and business stakeholders to translate infrastructure needs into data requirements and analysis. -Combine and reconcile data across budget, project planning, build goals, inventory, and procurement systems. -Develop analyses to determine project readiness based on budget, equipment needs, project milestones, and material availability. -Translate business requirements into clear, documented analytical rules. -Use SQL and Python to analyze, validate, and maintain large datasets within GCP/BigQuery. -Identify data gaps and inconsistencies across disparate enterprise systems. -Build repeatable analyses and data-quality checks to support monthly planning decisions. -Communicate findings and recommendations to technical and business stakeholders. -Support the development of user-friendly views that prioritize projects and explain recommendations. -Explore optimization or AI-assisted approaches where applicable.
