Data Analyst

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong Excel skills with the ability to manipulate large files and datasets using formulas, tables, lookups, filtering, and data validation
• Hands-on experience with Model N, ideally working with pharmaceutical claims, Medicaid rebates, or related data
• Experience processing and validating Medicaid and/or pharmacy claims data
• Working knowledge of SQL for querying and validating data
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies within large datasets
• Ability to quickly learn established processes and independently manage day-to-day tasks
• Previous J&J experience / rehire eligibility required
• Open to junior-to-senior analyst-level candidates if they have the core Model N, Excel, and claims experience

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry
• Previous experience supporting Medicaid rebate or government pricing processes
• Exposure to Python is a plus, but not required for this assignment

Job Description

We are seeking an Analyst to provide short-term coverage for a team member currently on medical leave, with an anticipated assignment through the end of the year and the potential to extend. This individual will support day-to-day data processing and validation activities within the Medicaid space, helping ensure ongoing work continues accurately and on schedule. This role is primarily execution-focused rather than requiring full ownership of the function. The ideal candidate will be highly comfortable working with large datasets in Excel, have experience with Model N and pharmacy or Medicaid claims data, and possess working knowledge of SQL.
