Job Description

As a Product Support Engineer at Anduril, you will be an individual contributor within our rapidly growing Maritime team. You will own product support analysis and sustainment cost for a fleet of maritime autonomous vehicles - building the life cycle cost model, running the analysis that determines how the fleet gets supported, and turning reliability and maintenance data into the provisioning, manning, and cost picture the program and the customer need.

Sustainment is where the majority of a platform's lifetime cost lands, and this role owns understanding it before those costs are locked in by design decisions.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Build and own the life cycle cost model for the vehicle fleet and its support system

Produce operating and support (O&S) cost estimates and keep them current as the design matures, with sensitivity analysis and affordability reporting published at program gates

Perform product support analysis covering provisioning, manning, facilities, and support equipment

Run cost trade studies on sustainment approaches and feed results into design decisions

Develop and maintain comprehensive, ground-up sustainment plans for the products you support

Develop spares and provisioning plans in partnership with RAM and Maintenance

Define the product support strategy and supporting elements of the logistics architecture

Create and maintain a Service Bill of Materials and other critical sustainment artifacts, establishing a central, up-to-date repository for sustainment data

Partner with customers, operations teams, and cross-functional engineering teams to define and continuously improve maintenance and repair strategies

Collaborate with design and manufacturing engineering during new product development to integrate design-for-supportability early

Establish the data pipeline that converts reliability and maintenance data into cost projections

Produce cost and supportability analysis for customer deliverables and program review
