Controls Technician

Required Skills & Experience

• Associate’s degree in a STEM-related field.
• Experience with PLC hardware and ladder logic programming.
• Experience with LabVIEW or similar graphical programming environments.
• Experience working with pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, and electric motors.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government-issued security clearance.

Insight Global is seeking a Controls Technician to support an Aerospace client located in East Hartford, CT. The ideal candidate will join a collaborative team responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of automated manufacturing, testing, and control systems.

This role will focus on diagnosing electrical and controls-related issues, supporting equipment reliability initiatives, and working closely with engineering and operations teams to optimize system performance. The Controls Technician will utilize electrical troubleshooting expertise, automation knowledge, and hands-on technical skills to maintain and improve industrial equipment, control systems, and manufacturing processes in a fast-paced aerospace environment.
