Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to support federal business development, capture, proposal, and contract administration activities. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience independently reviewing, redlining, negotiating, and administering federal teaming agreements, subcontract agreements, and related contractual documents. As Contracts Administrator, you will own the administration and compliance of Company contracts. This includes ownership of the lifecycle management of prime contracts, subcontracts, teaming agreements, task orders, vendor agreements, and related contractual documents. You report to the Director of Growth & Strategy and work cross-functionally with Finance and Delivery.

  • Review and process agreements prior to execution; flag and revise nonstandard terms for legal or leadership review.
  • Review agreement drafts for accuracy, completeness, and consistency with the terms of the related prime contract.
  • Maintain and update standardized templates for NDAs and subcontract agreements.
  • Review and negotiate key provisions involving workshare commitments, exclusivity, non-compete and non-solicitation, termination, payment, indemnification, liability, intellectual property, organizational conflicts of interest (OCI), and dispute resolution.
  • Review task order subcontracts for alignment with negotiated master subcontract terms, funding, labor categories, rates, deliverables, and periods of performance.
  • Evaluate subcontracting arrangements, including contractual privity, payment protections, and upstream flow-down requirements.
  • Support negotiations concerning Registered New Work, opportunity ownership, and expansion workshare.
  • Identify provisions requiring legal counsel review and coordinate escalation of complex contractual issues. Contract Compliance & Risk Management
  • Evaluate new subcontractor, consultant, and teaming relationships for potential organizational conflicts of interest.
  • Maintain conflict-of-interest documentation and mitigation plans as required by contract terms.
  • Support compliance recordkeeping and assist with preparation for customer, prime contractor, or internal contract audits.
  • Review contracts and subcontracts to identify key requirements, including applicable FAR/DFARS clauses, flow-down requirements, invoicing provisions, labor qualifications, reporting requirements, security requirements, and other contractual obligations.
  • Support compliance with federal contracting requirements and company policies.
  • Track required representations, certifications, insurance documentation, and other subcontractor compliance materials.
  • Escalate potential contractual, funding, performance, or compliance issues to appropriate leadership. Contract Administration
  • Maintain contract files, including executed agreements, modifications, task orders, funding documents, correspondence, deliverables, and required compliance documentation.
  • Maintain contract compliance trackers and communicate key contract dates/period of performance, funding, ceilings, option periods, deliverables and key contractual deadlines.
  • Coordinate execution and distribution of contractual documents and maintain current versions in the company's contract repository.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance against contractual requirements, funding, period of performance, and authorized scope.
