Job Description
The Senior Project Controls Manager will serve as a technical leader and subject matter expert for project controls, PMIS implementation, and advanced project scheduling across large, complex capital projects. This individual will partner with project managers, clients, IT teams, software providers, and multidisciplinary project teams to define project controls requirements and translate them into practical system configurations, workflows, approval structures, reporting tools, dashboards, permissions, and governance processes. They will lead the development and management of integrated, resource-loaded Primavera P6 schedules; oversee cost, forecasting, estimating, risk, change management, and performance-reporting activities; and recommend corrective actions when projects deviate from established baselines. This person will also organize and guide project controls professionals across scheduling, cost, estimating, document controls, and technology to ensure defined project scopes are delivered successfully. As HDR expands this capability, the Senior Project Controls Manager will help establish best practices, mentor project controls staff, support multiple business groups and projects, and contribute to the growth of a local project controls team. This role is paying between $68 - $76 per hour.
