CNC Router Operator

Job Description

The CNC Router Operator will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating a CR Onsrud CNC Router using Mastercam software. This role requires experience machining a variety of materials including wood, aluminum, plastics, and foam. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and committed to producing high-quality work.

Skills and Requirements

Key Responsibilities

· Program, set up, and operate a CR Onsrud CNC Router · Utilize Mastercam software to create and modify toolpaths · Cut and machine materials including wood, aluminum, plastics, and foam · Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders · Perform machine setup, tooling changes, and calibration · Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and accuracy · Maintain equipment and perform routine preventative maintenance

· Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment

Qualifications

· Proven experience operating a CR Onsrud CNC Router · Strong working knowledge of Mastercam software · Experience cutting wood, aluminum, plastics, and foam · Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints · Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills · Ability to work independently and as part of a team · High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)
