This role performs in-process inspections using micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment to ensure parts meet blueprint specifications and quality standards. The machinist monitors machine performance, makes necessary adjustments, and troubleshoots machining issues to maintain productivity and part quality. Candidates with advanced setup experience may support full machine setups, operate multiple machines, and work on 4- and 5-axis equipment.
