Cleared Sr. Flight Test Engineer

Required Skills & Experience

Must Haves: 7+ years of technical experience within Engineering, Math, or Physics (Master’s Degree accounts for 2 years of experience)

• In depth flight or space analysis background (trajectory analysis, vehicle performance, reentry analysis, telemetry analysis)
• Proficiency in C, C++, C#, Python, Fortran, or Ada
• MATLAB proficiency
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics
• Active Secret Clearance Ability to sit on site at Hill AFB daily (Clearfield, UT)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Plusses:

• Any ICBM or Reentry Vehicles (RS/RV) experience
• Experience with 6-degrees-of-freedom (6DOF) or related simulation models (3DOF, Monte Carlos, etc.) Active TS or TSSCI Clearance

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Cleared Flight Test Engineer to join one of their top defense clients at Hill Air Force Base supporting a large defensive weaponry program. This individual will provide technical analysis and preparation for intricate pre- and post-launch data analysis. They will perform complex pre- and post-launch analysis, develop specification documents, and support trajectory development and flight analysis. Pay Range: $60-72/hr Pay range based on applicable experience.
