Required Skills & Experience

3+ years of Business Systems Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar experience Healthcare payer experience with strong Medicare and/or Medicaid knowledge Experience gathering, analyzing, clarifying, and documenting business and system requirements Ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications Strong systems-analysis skills with the ability to understand application behavior, integrations, dependencies, and downstream impacts Strong documentation skills, including requirements, specifications, process flows, user stories, and/or acceptance criteria Experience with Jira Understanding of project management and project delivery processes Experience working directly with business stakeholders, developers, QA, and product/project teams Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Facets or another healthcare payer platform SQL experience Data mapping / source-to-target mapping API or systems integration experience Experience creating process flows and system documentation Experience supporting healthcare payer applications

Job Description

We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join a team in Robbinsville, NJ. This individual will partner with business stakeholders, product/project teams, developers, and QA to understand business needs and translate them into clear, actionable system requirements and technical specifications.

The Business Systems Analyst will gather and analyze requirements, document current and future-state processes, identify system dependencies and downstream impacts, and translate business needs into functional and technical specifications. This person should have a strong understanding of healthcare payer systems and be comfortable working across both business and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
