Business Analyst II

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in business analysis, functional analysis, data analytics, process improvement, and automation.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, advanced Excel, and SQL.
• Experience working with APIs, data integrations, enterprise systems, and complex datasets.
• Experience developing dashboards, reporting solutions, automated workflows, and data-driven solutions.
• Strong experience developing user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, functional requirements, and data requirements.
• Experience supporting solutions through testing, UAT, implementation, and production deployment.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, or similar AI tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work across both technical and non-technical teams.

Job Description

The Business Analyst II will combine functional analysis, data analytics, and automation expertise to evaluate current-state business processes, identify opportunities to streamline manual and repetitive activities, and develop scalable future-state solutions. This individual will partner with business stakeholders, product owners, and developers throughout the full solution lifecycle, from discovery and requirements gathering through testing, UAT, implementation, and production deployment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current-state processes and identify opportunities for process improvement and workflow automation.
• Define future-state solutions and develop functional requirements, data requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
• Develop interactive dashboards, reporting solutions, and data visualizations that translate complex data into actionable business insights.
• Build and support automated workflows and business solutions using Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, and advanced Excel.
• Work with SQL, APIs, data integrations, enterprise systems, and complex datasets to support business and technology initiatives.
• Leverage Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, and other AI tools to enhance analysis, automation, documentation, and business processes.
• Partner with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders throughout development, testing, UAT, implementation, and production deployment.
• Manage requirements and project documentation using Jira and Confluence within an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Communicate complex technical concepts, requirements, and solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
