Required Skills & Experience

Hybrid role. 2-3 days per week onsite.

7+ years of business analysis experience, including at least 3 years leading requirements for complex, cross-functional technology initiatives. Experience documenting business processes, system requirements, data mappings, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Strong understanding of system integrations, APIs, data validation, and the impact of changes across upstream and downstream systems. Experience working in Agile delivery teams and managing requirements and defects in Jira or a similar tool. Ability to work directly with business stakeholders and technical teams, challenge unclear requirements, and drive decisions to closure. Strong written communication, facilitation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Job Description

The Senior Business Analyst will support two related Product Information Management (PIM) initiatives: SKU Lifecycle Management 2026 and World Class SKU / Vendor Setup 2027. This role will work with Merchandising, vendors, IT, and integration teams to turn business needs into clear requirements for vendor onboarding, SKU setup and maintenance, product content, and digital assets.

The analyst will help deliver the remaining approved 2026 enhancements and shape the 2027 modernization work. The role requires someone who can understand how product data moves across systems, resolve gaps in business processes, and keep requirements and acceptance criteria clear as priorities evolve.

Lead discovery sessions with Merchandising, vendor-facing teams, and IT to document current processes, pain points, business rules, and desired outcomes. Define requirements, process flows, data mappings, user stories, and acceptance criteria for PIM, SKU Portal, Vendor API, and related integrations. Support the 2026 SKU Lifecycle Management scope, including digital asset improvements, workflow automation, third-party product content integrations, and approved PIM enhancements. Support the 2027 World Class SKU / Vendor Setup scope, including simplified end-to-end SKU setup, faster vendor onboarding, Vendor API and EDI capabilities, and integrations with Salsify, Syndigo, and InRiver. Define requirements for completing SKU maintenance in PIM, including vendor and internal updates, validations, access needs, approvals, and workflows. Work with business and technical teams on product content and digital asset requirements, including Endless Aisle support, AI-assisted long descriptions, asset standards, and potential asset augmentation. Assess and prioritize PIM defects and enhancements with stakeholders; clarify expected behavior and manage requirements through the Jira backlog. Partner with architects, developers, data integration teams, and downstream system owners to identify dependencies and resolve data or process gaps. Support testing by reviewing test scenarios, coordinating business validation, triaging defects, and confirming that delivered functionality meets approved requirements. Communicate decisions, scope changes, risks, and open questions clearly to project and business leaders.

The successful candidate will produce requirements that business and technical teams can act on, help resolve cross-system decisions before they delay delivery, and support releases that improve vendor onboarding speed, product data quality, PIM usability, and the efficiency of SKU setup and maintenance.
