Job Description

This job is responsible for supporting business-led change and transformation across Exchange Traded Derivatives Operations. Key responsibilities include business analysis, coordinating change initiatives, analyzing operational processes and data, identifying automation and efficiency opportunities, documenting requirements and solutions, and supporting implementation and adoption. Job expectations include being analytical, organized, and solutions-oriented, with a focus on continuous improvement, simplification, and effective delivery across ETD Operations.

LOB Job Description:

Supports AMRS Exchange Traded Derivatives (ETD) Operations change management and transformation activities, with a primary focus on Clearing and related operational functions. The successful candidate should possess a strong understanding of ETD Operations or related financial services processes, along with a strong business analysis skillset and the ability to translate business needs into structured requirements, analysis, process improvements, and practical deliverables.

Working primarily across Operations, Client Services, Data & Reporting, Operational Risk & Control, and regional/global ETD teams, this role supports initiatives from initial assessment through design, documentation, implementation, and adoption. The individual will help coordinate requests and initiatives spanning multiple Operations teams, translate objectives into clear actions and guidance, track deliverables, and consolidate information into cohesive ETD Operations solutions and management-ready materials.

The role requires an individual who can work independently once objectives and expectations are established, using available information and stakeholder input to develop an initial request or concept into a well-structured proposal, recommendation, solution, or final work product.

Responsibilities:

Supports business-led operational change initiatives from initial assessment through requirements, design, implementation, and adoption. Gathers, analyzes, documents, and validates business requirements, translating operational needs into clear process, data, reporting, and solution requirements. Analyzes operational processes and data to identify gaps, manual dependencies, inefficiencies, control considerations, and opportunities for improvement. Develops current- and future-state processes, workflows, process maps, requirements, decision matrices, and other business analysis deliverables. Identifies automation, workflow, and simplification opportunities to reduce manual effort, duplication, process complexity, and operational risk. Partners with Data & Reporting teams to define reporting needs, business logic, metrics, dashboards, and analytical requirements. Creates, updates, rationalizes, and standardizes operational procedures, guidance, reference materials, and supporting documentation. Supports BAU Change/JDI and other operational improvement activities, including tracking scope, ownership, dependencies, actions, decisions, and implementation requirements. Supports regional and global ETD initiatives focused on process harmonization, knowledge transfer, operational resiliency, and evolving coverage models. Supports testing, business validation, training, implementation, and adoption of new or enhanced processes and solutions. Coordinates cross-team ETD Operations requests, translating management and partner asks into clear activities and guidance for Operations teams. Coordinates and consolidates inputs across teams, follows up on outstanding actions, identifies gaps or unresolved items, and helps keep deliverables on track. Develops proposals, recommendations, summaries, presentations, and other management-ready deliverables from business requests and stakeholder input. Partners effectively across Operations, Client Services, Data & Reporting, Operational Risk & Control, and regional/global teams, engaging other partner functions as needed.
