Board Operator

Required Skills & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5+ years of oil & gas industry experience
• 5+ years of plant operations experience
• Experience operating natural gas processing or cryogenic facilities
• Experience working with DCS control systems
• Experience using SCADA systems for operational monitoring
• Knowledge of cryogenic processing systems
• Experience working with amine treating systems
• Experience operating stabilizer systems
• Experience with refrigeration systems
• Strong troubleshooting and operational problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as required

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience using DeltaV DCS
• Experience using Wonderware DCS
• Experience monitoring field compressor operations
• Experience with process optimization initiatives
• Knowledge of pressure vessels and gas processing equipment
• Prior experience supporting hydrocarbon fractionation processes Experience performing minor mechanical repairs and troubleshooting

Job Description

A Board Operator will act with minimal supervision to safely and efficiently operate a natural gas processing facility. Responsibilities include monitoring plant operations through DCS and SCADA systems, troubleshooting process issues, optimizing production, maintaining product specifications, coordinating with maintenance personnel, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental requirements. The operator will oversee cryogenic processing equipment, treating systems, refrigeration systems, compressors, pumps, and associated plant infrastructure while responding to operational alarms and abnormal conditions.
