Job Description

This is a hands-on biology/lab role supporting automated high-throughput entomology testing. The person does not need to be an entomology expert. The ideal candidate has a biology/science foundation, is comfortable working hands-on in a lab, and is interested in automation, technology, and improving lab processes.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor's degree in:

Biology Biotechnology Entomology Plant Science Agricultural Science Engineering Technology Automation Or related field Basic understanding of biology and laboratory practices Comfortable with technology/automated equipment or strong ability to learn Strong attention to detail Ability to follow repeatable, standardized processes Problem-solving and organizational skills Strong communication and teamwork Biological or agricultural lab experience Greenhouse or controlled-environment experience Lab automation or robotics Liquid handling Automated imaging High-throughput screening Insect bioassays / entomology Plant biology / agricultural biotechnology Structured data collection or laboratory information systems Equipment troubleshooting
