Job Description

A large financial organization is seeking a Senior Data Engineer that will sit onsite 4 days a week in Farmington Hills Michigan for a contract role. We are seeking a senior AWS DevOps / Cloud Platform Engineer to help build, automate, and support the cloud infrastructure for a new AI-enabled Wealth Management access review platform. This individual will be responsible for establishing the AWS infrastructure and deployment framework required to support the application. The environment is heavily focused on Infrastructure as Code and automated CI/CD, with an expectation that infrastructure and deployments will be automated rather than manually provisioned.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code Create and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines Deploy containerized microservices using Docker, Amazon ECS, and AWS Fargate Support source control and deployment workflows using GitHub and Jenkins Configure and maintain AWS networking, connectivity, and security controls Develop and manage IAM roles and policies Configure monitoring and observability through Amazon CloudWatch Support application infrastructure utilizing Amazon RDS/PostgreSQL Ensure services can communicate securely across the AWS environment Partner with Fifth Third engineering teams to align cloud architecture with bank standards Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployment wherever possible
