5–6+ years of consulting experience Strong hands-on Python/scripting and automation experience Experience designing and building automation workflows from scratch Hands-on experience with Venafi integrations Strong experience building APIs and system integrations Experience with F5, ServiceNow, Java keystores, secret vaults, and CI/CD pipelines Strong client-facing skills with the ability to assess an environment and recommend/build the right solution

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience working with PKI, certificates, or certificate lifecycle automation. Experience specifically automating public TLS certificate lifecycle processes. Experience building reusable automation patterns or frameworks across large enterprise environments. Experience troubleshooting complex integrations across multiple systems/endpoints. Experience partnering with PKI, security, infrastructure, or machine identity architects.

Job Description

We are looking for a hands-on Automation & Integration Architect who can take manual processes and turn them into scalable, repeatable automation. This person will design, build, and test automation workflows, write Python/scripts, develop APIs, and integrate Venafi with systems and endpoints such as ServiceNow, F5 load balancers, Java keystores, secret vaults, and CI/CD pipelines. They will work directly with the client to understand each environment and determine the best technical approach rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all solution. The goal is to build automation patterns that support the initial pilot and can ultimately be standardized and scaled across the organization.

Day-to-Day:

Design, build, and test automated workflows. Write Python/scripts to automate manual processes. Build and integrate APIs across the client's environment. Integrate Venafi with systems and endpoints. Work with ServiceNow, F5 load balancers, Java keystores, secret vaults, and CI/CD pipelines. Determine the best automation approach based on each environment or use case. Troubleshoot and test integrations to ensure workflows function properly. Create standardized, reusable automation patterns instead of one-off solutions. Partner with the PKI/Machine Identity Architect to turn certificate lifecycle designs into working automation. Work directly with the client to understand their environment and recommend the best technical solution.
