-3–5 years of hands-on Akamai experience -Experience working directly in the Akamai portal -Hands-on experience with Akamai Property Manager -Experience onboarding applications to Akamai CDN/Edge -Understanding of Akamai WAF -Experience testing and deploying Akamai configurations -Experience troubleshooting Akamai-related issues -Basic understanding of DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, and TLS/SSL -Comfortable supporting production deployments and working with application teams -Preferred Qualifications

Job Description

We are looking for a junior-to-mid-level Akamai Engineer to help onboard and secure applications on the Akamai platform.

This person will work hands-on within Akamai to configure applications, support CDN and WAF implementations, test changes, troubleshoot issues, and assist with production deployments. You’ll partner with application, security, networking, and infrastructure teams while working alongside senior engineers.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

-Onboard applications onto Akamai CDN and Edge services -Make and update configurations in Akamai Property Manager -Help configure and support WAF/security protections -Test and validate Akamai configurations before production -Support production deployments and application migrations -Troubleshoot Akamai, DNS, TLS/SSL, and connectivity issues -Help protect application origins and reduce public -exposure -Work with application, security, networking, and infrastructure teams -Document configurations and onboarding progress
