Required Skills & Experience

Experience working on high volume applications.

Experience in server-side frameworks like Spring MVC.

Experienced with the Spring Framework, including Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Integration, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA

Good understanding of SOAP web services with XML and JSON

Experience building restful web services

Working knowledge for front end technologies like handlebars, Vue, and reactJS

XML and JSON binding libraries (jaxb, Jackson, gson, etc) Unit Tests – Junit

Experience with GIT, Maven, Artifactory, Eclipse (or equivalent IDE)

Experience with GIT distributed version control, branching/merge strategies, and Bitbucket.

Experience with monitoring toolset like Splunk, Dynatrace. Familiarity with MQ (Websphere MQ or ActiveMQ).

Experience in performance tuning with good understanding JVM internals.

Experience with groovy

Experience in Object-oriented programming and concepts

Experienced in Distributed System development using Java/J2EE/Web Technologies

Familiar with Java design patterns

Experience with defensive programming and application security.

Experience with Github/Copilot

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related field.

5+ years of hands-on software development experience

Exposure to Agile Methodologies

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to design, develop, test, and deliver complex software solutions supporting high-volume enterprise applications. This individual contributor will build scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring-based frameworks, develop and integrate REST and SOAP web services/APIs, and write clean, maintainable code with comprehensive unit testing. The developer will participate throughout the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, story refinement, technical design, estimation, development, testing, deployment, and production support. This role will also be responsible for troubleshooting complex application and integration issues, performing JVM-level performance tuning, analyzing and resolving defects, and contributing to integration, regression, and performance testing. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively across engineering, business, and management teams to deliver secure, scalable, and well-tested solutions that meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.
