Job Description

One of Insight Global’s top clients within Investment Banking is seeking an Android Product Manager to join its RIA Custody Solutions organization. This individual will support a sophisticated, digital-forward custody platform designed to meet the needs of independent Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs). The broader platform includes web-based portals and a native mobile application, with digital workflows supporting areas such as client onboarding, money movement, account servicing, and the overall advisor and end-client experience. The Android Product Manager will own and drive product initiatives across the Android mobile experience, serving as the bridge between business stakeholders, users, and engineering teams. This person will be responsible for understanding advisor and client needs, defining product requirements, prioritizing the roadmap, and partnering closely with Android engineers to deliver secure, scalable, and intuitive mobile functionality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and help execute the Android mobile product roadmap for the RIA Custody platform.
  • Identify and prioritize mobile features based on advisor/end-client needs, business value, technical complexity, regulatory requirements, and overall product strategy.
  • Lead discovery sessions with stakeholders across Operations, Client Service, Sales, Legal & Compliance, Technology, and other product teams to gather and define requirements, consistent with the cross-functional model used in the prior RIA Product Manager role.
  • Translate high-level business and user needs into product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and detailed Jira tickets for Android engineering teams.
  • Partner closely with Android developers, UX/UI designers, QA, architecture, and engineering leadership throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog, balancing new functionality, technical enhancements, production defects, regulatory requirements, and urgent client requests.
  • Drive Android capabilities supporting key RIA custody experiences such as onboarding, authentication, account information, money movement, notifications, servicing, and transaction workflows.
  • Define acceptance criteria and participate in UAT, release readiness, defect triage, and post-production validation.
  • Use product analytics, client feedback, operational insights, and application performance data to identify opportunities for improving the mobile experience.
  • Coordinate dependencies between mobile, backend/API, web, security, and other technology teams.
  • Partner with Risk, Legal, and Compliance stakeholders to ensure mobile functionality meets the controls expected within a regulated financial-services environment.
  • Support product launches through go-to-market planning, stakeholder communications, training, release documentation, and adoption tracking.
