Job Description

A large financial organization is seeking a Senior AI/Python Developer that will sit onsite 4 days a week in Farmington Hills Michigan for a contract role. We are seeking an AI Software Engineer with strong Python development experience to support an AI-enabled Wealth Management access review platform. The underlying AI engines already exist, so this person will not be responsible for training or building foundational LLMs. Instead, they will develop and maintain the Python application layer, integrate with LLM services through Amazon Bedrock, maintain AI agents, and perform prompt engineering.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend services using Python Support and enhance existing AI agents Integrate applications with LLMs through Amazon Bedrock APIs Develop and refine prompts used by the application's AI workflows Perform prompt engineering and optimize prompts for application use cases Develop APIs and application services supporting AI functionality Troubleshoot and enhance existing AI capabilities Work within an AWS-hosted microservices architecture Collaborate with front-end, data, platform, and QA engineers Participate in knowledge transfer for the existing AI solution
