- Understanding how applications consume infrastructure components
- Supporting platform-level deployments in AWS
- AWS

- Experience using AI tools (GPT, Claude, etc.) as a practitioner/user
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Banking or finance industry background
- AWS Bedrock.
- LLM Guardrails / AWS Guardrails.
- AI Gateway experience.
- MCP (Model Context Protocol) server development.
- Experience building agents or agent workflows.
Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an AI Software Engineer for one of our largest clients based in the Cincinnati area. The ideal candidate is able to go onsite at either our Farmington Hills, Michigan (outside of Detroit) or Cincinnati, Ohio location (4-5x/week).
This role is will be critical in helping to build infrastructure supporting AI agents and contribute to future agent development work across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and support AWS infrastructure for the AI platform.
- Provision and manage cloud resources using Terraform.
- Support processes for agent onboarding, authorization, and access management.
- Build integrations between applications and cloud infrastructure (e.g., S3, permissions, access controls).
- Assist with implementation of agentic AI capabilities and future AI agent projects.
- Collaborate with the team responsible for AI platform expansion from MVP to broader enterprise adoption
