AI Engineer

Required Skills & Experience

Hands-on experience building GenAI and/or agentic AI solutions, not simply using Copilot or AI coding assistants

Experience designing and developing AI agents

Strong Python and/or JavaScript development experience

Experience integrating applications with LLMs/models

Strong software/application engineering foundation with experience building production-oriented AI solutions

Ability to translate business or operational problems into working AI solutions

Experience supporting and troubleshooting AI applications beyond the proof-of-concept stage

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Banking or financial-services experience, highly preferred

Software, Full Stack, or backend engineering background prior to transitioning into AI

RAG / Retrieval-Augmented Generation

Context engineering and prompt engineering

Token optimization / efficient LLM usage

Vector databases, semantic search, or small language models

Azure/cloud experience and experience integrating AI with existing enterprise or legacy applications

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer to design, develop, and support production-oriented Generative AI and agentic AI solutions supporting internal business and operations use cases.

The ideal candidate will have a traditional software or application engineering foundation and have transitioned into hands-on AI engineering, with experience building AI applications, agents, or solutions that integrate with large language models.

This individual should be capable of taking AI beyond experimentation and prototypes by developing reliable, production-oriented solutions that support real operational workflows. Candidates should understand both the technical implementation of AI solutions and the business problems those solutions are designed to solve.
