Agentic AI Engineer

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of software engineering or application development experience using Python and .NET/C#.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience building agentic AI solutions using LangGraph, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar technologies, including workflow orchestration, memory management, tool calling, and multi-agent patterns.
• 2+ years building and deploying AI/LLM-powered applications, including RAG architectures, enterprise integrations, and production AI solutions.
• Experience deploying AI solutions within Microsoft Azure, including Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Functions, App Services, and enterprise integrations leveraging APIs, vector databases, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience leveraging GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools to accelerate solution delivery.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience building AI-powered contact center, customer service, or workflow automation solutions.
• Experience supporting applications containing PHI, PII, or other regulated data; healthcare experience is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of emerging agentic AI architectures, multi-agent systems, and AI governance best practices.

Job Description

A leading healthcare client is seeking an Agentic AI Engineer to build AI-powered digital workers that can perform tasks, make decisions, gather information, and automate business processes across the enterprise. Working closely with the AI Architect, this Engineer will build, deploy, and scale agentic AI solutions using LLMs, orchestration frameworks, retrieval systems, and Azure-based AI services. This individual will play a key role in the client's AI transformation initiatives, developing solutions that improve employee productivity, automate business processes, and enhance member and provider experiences. Example projects include AI-powered contact center support tools, member and provider summarization capabilities, and intelligent workflow automation solutions. The team is looking for a strong software engineer who has recently expanded into enterprise GenAI and Agentic AI development and can deliver production-ready solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and deploy agentic AI solutions using LangGraph, LangChain, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel, and similar frameworks.
• Develop production-ready applications, APIs, and integrations using Python and .NET/C#.
• Implement RAG architectures, vector databases, and enterprise knowledge retrieval solutions.
• Deploy and optimize AI solutions leveraging Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, and related Azure services.
• Integrate AI capabilities with enterprise systems, workflows, and business applications.
• Support CI/CD, automated deployments, and production operations using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
