Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Accounting Manager for a growing organization where the current business leader has been handling much of the accounting function internally. This individual will take ownership of the day-to-day accounting operations, allowing leadership to focus on strategic business initiatives.

The Accounting Manager will oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, general ledger activities, reporting, and banking relationships. This person will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial records, maintaining cash flow through effective collections efforts, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes Lead collections efforts, including outreach to customers regarding outstanding balances Monitor aging reports and follow up on 30-, 60-, and 90-day receivables Perform General Ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and adjusting journal entries Process account transfers and financial transactions Prepare and distribute financial reports for banking partners and leadership Ensure timely and accurate posting of financial transactions Support month-end and year-end close activities Maintain accounting records and supporting documentation Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve accounting processes and controls Assist with cash flow management and financial reporting initiatives
