Job Description

Insight Global’s client is seeking an Accountant to join their growing accounting team within a multi-entity, shared-services environment. This individual will own accounting responsibilities for an assigned business unit and work closely with operational teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, detail-oriented accountant who is comfortable working independently, solving problems, and adapting to changing business needs.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Support month-end close and financial statement preparation
• Complete journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and general ledger activities
• Manage and analyze job/project costs
• Review vendor and subcontractor invoices for accuracy and proper coding
• Support project billing and related accounting activities
• Analyze financial data and research discrepancies
• Utilize Excel for data manipulation, PivotTables, lookups, and financial analysis
• Partner with operational teams to gather information and meet accounting deadlines
• Independently research and resolve accounting issues
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies
