If you enjoy helping people, love animals, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is an opportunity to build your career while making a meaningful difference for pets, their families, and the veterinary team.
As the first point of contact for our hospital, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming client experience, coordinating daily appointments, and keeping communication flowing between clients and our medical team. You'll also enjoy the variety of working in a mixed animal practice, supporting clients and patients across different species.
What You'll Do

- Manage Phones and Scheduling: Answer multi-line phones, respond to inquiries, schedule appointments, and coordinate daily patient flow.
- Support Client Communication: Share routine information about services, vaccinations, medications, and follow-up care while directing medical questions to the appropriate team member.
- Process Estimates and Payments: Prepare estimates, create invoices, process payments, and communicate financial information with professionalism and compassion.
- Maintain Medical Records: Update client and patient information, manage documentation, and ensure records are accurate and organized.
- Coordinate Follow-Up: Assist with appointment reminders, prescription requests, referrals, and post-visit communications.
- Collaborate With the Medical Team: Work alongside veterinarians, veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants, and hospital leadership to support excellent patient care.
- Maintain the Front Desk: Keep reception areas organized, welcoming, and professional while helping the hospital run smoothly.
What We're Looking For
- Previous customer service, receptionist, client service, or front-desk experience required.
- Veterinary, animal hospital, medical office, or healthcare experience strongly preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
- Comfortable using computers, scheduling systems, and multi-line phones.
- Professional, dependable, approachable, and attentive to detail.
- Compassionate toward animals and empathetic toward their owners.
- Comfortable discussing estimates, payments, and client financial questions.
- Able to prioritize responsibilities and work collaboratively in a busy veterinary environment.
Full-Time Schedule
- Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM–5:30 PM
- Rotating Saturdays: 8:00 AM–12:30 PM
- Sundays: Closed
