Info Services, LLC has an opening for the position of Data Engineer (Ref# DE115ARS). Work Location: Livonia, MI and relocation required to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Job Duties: Design, develop, test, and implement cutting-edge data solutions that provide actionable insights to business users. Employ a wide range of advanced data technologies and techniques, leveraging data engineering principles and foundations to make informed selection of most appropriate technologies based on current and anticipated requirements, constraints, and objectives. Leverage strong data mining and modeling skills and techniques during solution ideation taking aspects throughout the full solution development lifecycle, from concepts through execution. Engineer tools and support structures needed to extract, structure, process, and analyze large quantities of data from singular and/or disparate sources. Design, develop, and review data architecture components that scale for the ever-evolving data needs. Conceptualize, design, and develop solution automation and optimization across all areas of Data Warehousing/ETL maintenance and science model deployments. Design, implement, and support analytical data infrastructure, providing ad-hoc access to large datasets and computing power. Participate in strategic collaborations with other technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from a wide variety of data sources. Establish research and proof-of-concept initiatives in new and emerging technology spaces. Use of Spark, Scala, PySpark, Kafka, Databricks, Snowflake, GenAI, SQL, Java, Python, Jenkins, Docker, Git, AWS, and Azure. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Plus 4 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation including Software Engineer, Technical Lead, or related experience. Position requires 2 years of experience with Spark, Kafka, Scala, Java, Python, and AWS. 40hrs/week.
