Sanctuary Hotel is seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager Hotel with upscale boutique hotel experience to lead our team in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving business growth. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong management skills and a passion for hospitality excellence.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the hotel to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
• Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue, profitability, and guest satisfaction.
• Lead, train, and motivate hotel staff to achieve high performance and service standards.
• Maintain financial performance by preparing budgets, monitoring expenses, and optimizing costs.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and legal regulations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with guests, vendors, and local community partners.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
• Oversee maintenance and upkeep of hotel facilities to ensure a high-quality guest environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in hotel management or a similar leadership role.
• Proven track record in managing hotel operations, finance, and team leadership.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and make effective decisions.
• Familiarity with hospitality management software and systems.
• Flexible availability to meet the demands of the hospitality industry, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
