Referral Placeholder Position

This job title should be used when an employee submits a referral but the candidate is not applying to a specific open position. The Referral Placeholder Position allows HR and Recruiting to capture the referral in ADP, ensure the referring employee is credited, and begin reviewing the candidate’s background for potential opportunities. Once a suitable opening is identified, the candidate can be matched to the correct requisition, while the original referral record remains tied to the referring employee for bonus eligibility.
